The LEAP Team consists of dynamic youth speakers and specializes in retreat style ministry. Below are some examples of retreat themes that we offer, but are certianly not limited to. LEAP knows that not all parishes, communities, organizations, or groups are the same. This is why we don't only offer a few set retreat themes and/or talk titles. Every group's dynamic is different, therefore, LEAP will cater to your needs and create a unique retreat around those needs. Our Purity Retreats are centered around the message of Matt 5:8 "Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God." It is key for us to remain pure of heart, knowing that it is only by God's grace that we can achieve success.
This message is focused on the third person of the Trinity...the Holy Spirit! Through the Holy Spirit we receive power (Acts 1:8), being able to draw closer to Christ, turn away from sin, and walk in the way of the Lord.
The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian faith. Personal testimony is used to show how Jesus, in the Eucharist has affected and changes our lives. We need to draw our life from He who said, "My Flesh is true Food and my Blood is True Drink." (John 6:55-56) "He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life." (John 6:54)
Jesus needs to be at the center of our lives. Revelation 3:20 says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock..." By opening the door of our hearts and letting God in, we eliminate the need to stick temporary and unnecessary satisfactions into the hole that God—and God alone—can fill.
