Alan Fester - Director

Alan is one of the co-founders of LEAP Ministries. Alan possesses many years of experience in different levels of youth ministry and retreat formation. He has traveled throughout Western Canada speaking at conferences to youth and young adults about the message of purity. Alan has also worked with Cat Chat traveling Across Canada and most of the United States.

Alan attended John Paul II Bible School in 2000 and was a member of their Parish team for 2 years before joining them on staff as Men's Dorm Coordinator and Outreach Coordinator. After leaving the Bible School in the fall of 2005, Alan branched out into Saskatchewan serving as Deanery Coordinator for 4 months. In the summer of 2006, LEAP was born as a result of the prompting from the Holy Spirit and in September of 2008, the fulltime road team began.

In June of 2010, Alan joined his beautiful wife in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Alan and Nicole now live in Red Deer, where he works as the full time youth minister in St. Mary's Parish. As a speaker, Alan shares the message of Purity to the young people...one scripture that he wants them to remember is Matthew 5:8 "blessed are the pure of heart for they will see God".

Trevor Papp - Director

Born and raised in Southern Alberta and the youngest of three children, Trevor grew up with much to learn. Although baptized into the United Church as an infant, Trevor was educated in the Catholic school system. "I knew a lot about God, but I never really knew who He was," Trevor says. At the age of 8, Trevor was initiated into the Rite of the Catholic Church. He continues, "It wasn't until I was 16 years old at a Life Teen Mass in Lethbridge, AB that I really began to experience God's Love."

Since that time, Trevor has been involved in a number of youth ministry programs such as Arise, SEARCH, Life-Teen, and several others. Trevor attended the John Paul II Bible School in the fall of 2002, and later continued on as staff, as youth minister. He has continued to be an active member in his church community, and organizes SEARCH retreats and faith formation for youth and young adults.

Trevor is a Certified Automotive Service Technician and currently works in Lloydminster. He was married in February of 2005 and has since had 3 beautiful children. Trevor is a strong witness of faith to his co-workers and his family. As one of LEAP's founders and directors, Trevor's experiences prove to be an asset for LEAP as he brings a wealth of knowledge in ministry and retreat planning to the table.

As a dynamic speaker, people are touched by his testimony and encouraged to persevere in faith. Trevor's passion is for youth, and he desires a world that is experienced in God's Love.

Trevor and his wife are also accredited 'Billings Ovulation Method' Instructors, a method of Natural Family Planning that is proven to be over 99.65% effective.
