• In this talk we focus on being pure of mind and heart.
• Recognizing that "what we contemplate (or bring into our senses) we become" —St. Augustine.
• Realizing that there are 2 sides fighting for our lives; the world and God.
• We make the statements of "what does the world offer" and "what does God offer"?
• The objective of this talk is for the youth to realize that purity is important to them spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

• In this talk we focus on obedience to God, to parents, to other, and to ourselves.
• We also talk about how Christ was obedient even to death on the cross, and how through His obedience, we gained salvation.

• In this talk we focus on how Jesus wants to be our best friend and share his life, love, and glory with each of us.
• We also talk about who Jesus is to us as a brother, as Lord, and as the way to the Father.

• In this talk we cover about what confirmation is and how, by receiving this sacrament, we are strengthened for the mission of God.
• We also cover how the sacrament is celebrated, what will happen, and what the gifts of the Spirit are (i.e. wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord).
• We also focus on discipleship and how confirmation is not a graduation from our faith but a beginning journey in our faith.
• We also remind the candidates that confirmation is one of the sacraments of initiation (i.e Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist).

• In this talk we focus on how the Eucharist, prayer, and obedience are the foundation for our Christian journey.
• We offer a circle analogy: that we have two messages coming at us and as we journey as a family, which message are we going to follow?
• We talk about how a Fathers blessing over His children has a lasting and most powerful effect on the lives of his children.

Praying parents are the example to their kids, if they want their kids to remain faithful.

• The purpose of this talk is show that we are made in the image and likeness of God.
• God sees what he made was very good, so we don't need to dress or act a certain way in order to be somebody, but that we are somebody in Christ.

• In this talk we cover the creation story, and how we are made in the image and likeness of our God.

• In this talk we focus on the Eucharist being the source and summit of all Christian life.
• How the Eucharist as an action of giving thanksgiving to God within the whole community.
• The miracle of transubstantiation (bread and wine becoming the Body and Blood of Christ) and the graces received from the Eucharist. In the Eucharist, Chist is truly present—body, blood, soul, and divinity.

• In this talk we focus on what it means to be reconciled to God, to the Church and to others.
• We talk about forgiveness and how unforgiveness can weigh us down and not allow us to experience freedom.

• The youth are led through an examination of conscience.
